WHERE THE WHALES SLEEP

By Jade, the Son of Jack

Swift it fares me away,
that midnight tide to places deep.
Lost are my cares for the world behind me,
I yearn now to wander where the whales sleep.
Call to me not,
too far I shall be.
Though I weep for our parting,
my tears become the sea.
