Darkness everywhere, surrounded by a wall
You try to climb and try not to bleed at all
It’s too painful, it’s too cruel, and you fall even deeper that you were before.
You try to climb, blood pouring, knuckles breaking, tears and sweat run down your face, bones twisting as you try to reach out to grab a hold of that tiny blob of light.
As you reach, the demons come, whispering the evil into your ear, you start to crumble into their hands as they reach inside your open wounds, you try to focus but it becomes so hard, you lose the ability to see the hand, the hand that holds you so close and tight.
The light gets lost and starts to suffocate surrounded by clouds, the rains come down, and you start to drown.
You try to drink the rainwater away, but you start to drown in the pain that swims around.
The battle never ends, it becomes a daily grind, just the ability to keep alight becomes so drained and pained.
Keep the armour oh so tight but remember the fight can also give light.
