SAY YOU LOVE ME PLEASE

By Cathy Blue

Dear Death,

I need your dark eyes

Fixed on mine,

Grab my wrist,

Lick the rust off my skin,

Bite into my ancient memories,

Suck the life out of my pale veins.

Taste the messy art of my brokenness,

Taste my twisted love of

Wanting to be with you and

Having to stay without you.

One last kiss, one to linger for forever,

Keep my heart locked away

Inside your ribcage,

I am basically dead without you anyway,

Till we meet again,

Keep my heart safe inside yours.
