I'd let you untangle the silver metal of my favorite necklace
Let you pull my hair to the side
Place untangled silver round my neck
Against my collarbones
Let you
With my neck bare and head tilted just so
Pull the clasp open and shut with calloused thumbs and fingers
I'd let you rest there for a moment
The pretense of being all fingers and thumbs while you breathe me in
Nose along the curve of my neck as I let you memorize my scent
The mole on the nape of my neck like a waypoint or the x on a pirate map
Criminal you are you'd take and take and take
Curls caught in your grip
Lips caught between teeth
Silver metal cold on my chest
I'd let you untangle each necklace I own
Place it on smooth skin with a reverence I fear only the marble of old gods once knew
