I WANT

I want to strip my feelings away in the act of dance.
I want to strip every inch of my clothes off,
To dance in front of a man I find so gorgeous.
And I want him to tell me that,
I want him to call me gorgeous.
I want validation from someone that could see the beauty in me,
For someone to see me naked,
For not my dick but my soul.
For It is glowing under my skin,
Flaring in the brightest hues of gold,
Just so he could know,
In all of this brightness,
It is crying.
Someone see me for more than just my body,
See the mind that is under my skin,
Under the face I’m trying so hard to love…
I want you to call me beautiful,
So that I may hear someone else say it,
So I can numb the thoughts inside of my head that I am to unworthy for love.
Call me beautiful.
Call me gorgeous,
Do not degrade my skin in dirty words,
Fill my aura with love.
Give me strength,
Hold my hand,
Make my skin safe.
So much that I can strip my feelings away in the act of dance,
To strip every inch of my clothes off,
To dance in front of you,
Because every part of you I find beautiful,
I find gorgeous.
Love this broken man,
give me the life I’m trying so hard to find.
