HAUNTING THE HELL IN WHICH YOU HELD ME

so what if my specter can be seen
skinny-dipping in the River Styx
haunting the hell in which you held me
while raising a child with that cheating witch?
Hades is the Baywatch lifeguard
watching me with piqued interest as I still struggle to swim
whose hardened heart is visible in his swim trunks
lusting after the thought of having to resuscitate
the latest object of his corrupt desire
the rope bridge being crossed by tourists
is missing many planks
yet still finds a way to tighten
with their every step like a noose around my neck
cameras flash like unwelcome lightning
I try to capture in the baby bottle you discarded in the trash
for a militant minimalist I sure keep a graveyard of artifacts
