We learn to love in tight spaces,
find balance in the turning of the clock,
become close with our innermost darkness,
and rock it to sleep while we find sunlight.
The myth of fixing broken things
tells us to carry superglue in our pockets,
and yet some things are more beautiful in ruins
than they ever could be when faultless.
