ACROSS THE SHORES

The wind,

Against my sails,

That keep flapping,

To & fro,

The clashing,

Of the waves,

As I rise,

High and low.

The feet,

That Pitta patter,

Walking,

All over me,

The sound of voices,

To & fro,

Hoist em up!

Away we go.

I have swiftly sailed,

A thousand times,

Across the shores,

Within my body,

This Land of mine.

Scrubbed…

Polished…

Mopped…

Cleaned!

I shine…

I smile…

I glisten…

I gleam!

The waves,

Against my body,

That keeps knocking,

On my door,

The sound of laughter,

On my deck,

Keeps me coming,

Back for more.

The waves,

Against my Sails,

Tightly Clapping,

To & fro,

Across the shores,

Across the shores,

Once again,

I go-o-o.
